What if I told you that the deafening

Silence of my empty home soothes me

What if I told you that the thought of sharing my bed

After our conjugal visit doesn’t appeal to me

What if I told you the occasional dinner date

And Sunday brunches is enough for me

What if I told you that I dream of the day

When I can lounge and watch the sunset…

Alone

What if I told you that there was never any missing pieces

And that it is our biggest flaw lies our beauty
